Gym Management Software in Thane & Navi Mumbai

Two price levels, one chain at the top

Thane's Numbeo figure is about ₹1,100 a month, with answers between ₹750 and ₹1,500; Navi Mumbai's is about ₹1,669, between ₹1,000 and ₹2,500. We found no second published source for Navi Mumbai prices, so treat that one as a guide, not a benchmark.

At the premium end, medifee lists Gold's Gym Thane at ₹5,750 a month or ₹35,400 a year, and growfitter shows its Thane West branch offering ₹5,000 a month against a ₹7,000 list price. Another Thane gym on medifee charges ₹2,000 a month or ₹8,000 a year — a year for the price of four months, which only pays off if members come back to renew. Gold's own year, at ₹35,400, costs a little over six months at its ₹5,750 monthly rate.

Thane West, Airoli, Vashi, Kharghar

Fit Square names Airoli, Kharghar, Ulwe, Vashi and Ghansoli as Navi Mumbai's strongest gym clusters, and Thane West for Thane; medifee counts 44 gyms in Thane. Justdial lists more than 376 gyms in Thane, 133 of them tagged for women, and 127 gyms in Navi Mumbai, a figure that may undercount. Its 24-hour counts are small in both — two in Thane and three in Navi Mumbai — so round-the-clock opening is still rare here.

In growing areas like Ulwe and Kharghar, much of a gym's business starts as an enquiry. Lead management keeps every enquiry in one pipeline, with follow-up reminders and trial bookings, so a trial visit doesn't go cold.

TMC and NMMC, not BMC

A gym in Thane deals with the Thane Municipal Corporation and one in Navi Mumbai with the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation; the BMC's rules for Mumbai don't apply. Neither corporation's online trade-licence page could be checked when we looked, so ask the ward office which licence a gym needs before you fit out.

Staff registration is state-wide: the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments Act, 2017 requires registration from ten workers, and an intimation below that.

Same state as Mumbai, same registration

Thane and Navi Mumbai are in Maharashtra, code 27, like Mumbai itself. A Mumbai gym that opens in Vashi or Thane West can add the new address to its existing GST registration rather than taking a new one, and every member invoice at either branch carries 2.5% CGST and 2.5% Maharashtra SGST. In MyGymDesk each branch can still keep its own invoice prefix, so the Vashi and Thane series never mix; see billing and invoicing. Because the branches share one registration, the GST return is filed once for the business, with every branch's invoices in it.

Marathi-majority cities

Marathi was the first language of 48.5% of Thane's residents in 2011 and of 62% in Navi Mumbai; Hindi followed at about 20% and 23%. MyGymDesk's app and automated reminders are in English, and gyms on their own WhatsApp number can add Hindi templates. Owners can ask the AI business assistant about dues in Hindi or Hinglish.
