Do I need MyGymDesk GMS to use Payroll?

No. MGD Payroll works standalone — your own employees, your own attendance, your own plan. If you also run MyGymDesk GMS, attendance and session data flow into salary calculations automatically. If you don't, you enter attendance manually or your staff punch in from their phones.

How does commission tracking work?

You define the rules once — a flat rate per job, a percentage of the ticket, or tiered slabs. Each month the system pulls completed jobs and bookings from your own records and calculates payouts automatically. You review and approve before anything reaches payroll, so nobody is paid on a number you have not seen.

Is statutory filing handled, or just calculated?

We calculate the correct amounts every month, region-aware, and show them on the payslip. The actual government filing is done by you or your accountant — we produce the numbers and the files they need. Deeper portal integrations are on the roadmap.

What if attendance is still on paper?

Use the manual attendance grid — select multiple staff and mark present, absent or half-day in a click. Manual attendance is on every plan, including Free. When you're ready, move to mobile punch: staff clock in from their own phone with a GPS-stamped selfie, and it flows straight into payroll.

What happens when my team grows?

Add them to the plan you are on. Every paid plan includes a set number of employees and takes any number more at its own yearly rate: Starter is ₹4,999 a year with 10 employees included, then ₹400 per extra employee; Growth is ₹7,999 a year with 10 employees included, then ₹700 per extra employee; Pro is ₹10,999 a year with 10 employees included, then ₹900 per extra employee. Plans differ in locations and features, not in how many people you can pay: Starter covers 3 locations, Growth 10 locations and Pro unlimited locations. Free covers up to 5 employees and 1 location, and cannot add more. Every plan runs payroll, calculates statutory deductions, produces payslip PDFs and gives your staff a self-service portal; the higher plans add the extras on top.
