How biometric attendance works for an Indian gym
MyGymDesk works with eSSL and ZKTeco fingerprint and face devices that have a Cloud Server (ADMS) setting. Add the device in MyGymDesk by its serial number, then on the device open Menu → Comm. → Cloud Server Setting, choose ADMS mode and set the server address to bio.mygymdesk.in. The device needs an internet connection, not a PC.
MyGymDesk gives every member a device user ID and adds them to the device for you. Start fingerprint enrolment from the member's profile and the member places a finger on the reader. Each punch then shows up as a check-in within seconds, a second punch records the check-out, and punches made while the internet is down upload when it returns.
On firmware that supports validity dates, MyGymDesk sends each member's membership dates to the device, so it stops accepting them after expiry; on older readers the fingerprint is removed at expiry and restored on renewal. Staff punch in on the same device. The biometric machines guide lists the models.
