How WhatsApp reminders work for an Indian gym
From the first day, MyGymDesk sends member messages from a shared MyGymDesk WhatsApp number, on every plan and within its monthly message allowance: a receipt when a member pays, a reminder before a membership, class pack or PT package ends, an alert on the expiry day, a reminder before a bill falls due, a reminder before each booked class, a welcome message and a birthday wish.
Each message has its own switch, and you choose how early reminders go out: by default seven days before expiry, three days before a bill is due and two hours before a class. The built-in messages are in English.
To send from your own number, WhatsApp Marketing connects your WhatsApp Business number, with a team inbox, campaigns and templates you write in English or Hindi for Meta to approve. Once a template is approved, that reminder goes from your number, and Meta bills its message charges to you directly.
