Gym Management Software in Nagpur

A price ladder from one month to twelve

Published price data for Nagpur is thin. Numbeo's average is about ₹2,925 a month, but from only fifteen contributors, with answers anywhere from ₹600 to ₹5,000; Expatistan's older figure is about ₹1,589. The clearest published structure is Cult's Dharampeth gym: ₹7,344 for one month, ₹11,750 for three, ₹15,850 for six and ₹19,450 for twelve, which it presents as ₹1,621 a month.

That ladder is the whole commercial logic of a gym in one table. Three months cost 1.6 times one month; a year costs 2.65 times. Put per month, the six-month plan is about ₹2,642 and the twelve-month plan ₹1,621. In MyGymDesk each rung is simply a plan with its own duration and price, and every member's record shows which rung they're on and when it ends — see member management.

Where Nagpur's gyms are

Dharampeth has both a Cult gym and a Multifit, and a 2024 guide spreads the city's better-known gyms across Ramdaspeth, Manish Nagar, Gokulpeth, Hazari Pahad and Nandanwan. Justdial lists more than 1,498 gyms in Nagpur, 402 of them tagged for women and ten or more open around the clock. With so few 24-hour gyms, a round-the-clock gym here has little direct competition at night.

Summers here are extreme: March to June is hot, May is the hottest month and averages seven heat-wave days. If you run outdoor bootcamps or running groups, those months may call for earlier batches; class scheduling lets you shift a batch's time and capacity without rebuilding the timetable.

NMC and the Maharashtra shops act

The Nagpur Municipal Corporation is the civic body; its published rules don't say whether a gym needs a trade licence, so ask the NMC's zone office that covers your ward before you open. Staff registration follows the Maharashtra Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 2017 — registration from ten workers, an intimation below that. The state labour department publishes the act's 2018 rules, which set out the forms.

GST on a six-month plan

Maharashtra GSTINs start with 27, and a Nagpur gym's invoice carries 2.5% CGST and 2.5% Maharashtra SGST. On a multi-month plan the whole fee is invoiced when the member pays, so the tax on a ₹15,850 six-month plan — ₹396.25 each of CGST and SGST if priced exclusive of tax — is due in that month's return, not spread over six. MyGymDesk's GST report shows it that way. Prices can be set GST-inclusive, the default, or before tax, and the choice applies to every plan; see billing and invoicing.

Marathi and Hindi

Nagpur's 2011 census gave Marathi as the first language of 61% of residents and Hindi of 23%, with Urdu at 6%. MyGymDesk's app and automatic reminders are in English. Nearly a quarter of residents grew up with Hindi, and a gym on its own WhatsApp number can send approved Hindi templates. For owners, the AI business assistant answers in English, Hindi or Hinglish.
