**Last updated: July 24, 2026** โข **Author:** MyGymDesk Editorial Team โข **Disclosure:** MyGymDesk is one of the products in this roundup. We say plainly where we fit and where a competitor does something better โ including one thing a rival does that we do not.
Picking gym software in India is a different problem than picking it in the US. WhatsApp does the work that Twilio does abroad. Members pay by UPI, not card. GST-compliant invoices aren't optional. And most "global" tools were built for a market that doesn't look like ours โ the gaps show up six months in, when you're chasing collections from 200 members over messages that never landed.
So this isn't a generic feature grid. We scored 15 platforms on the axes that actually decide whether Indian gym software works: published โน pricing, UPI collection, GST invoicing, WhatsApp automation, biometric attendance, native apps, and the honest question of who each tool is really for. Every price below carries the date we checked it (July 2026) and comes from the vendor's own page or, where a vendor hides pricing, a named directory. Where a tool is strong, we say so.
How we scored (and one thing we don't do)
We argue for MyGymDesk on India-fit, not by rigging the table. Two rules kept us honest:
The India-first tools
MyGymDesk โ best India-fit for independents and small chains
Pricing (published): Starter โน999, Growth โน1,999, Pro โน2,999 per month โ flat INR, no asterisk, read it before you talk to anyone.
MyGymDesk was built for the Indian gym stack as the default, not an afterthought. Transactional WhatsApp automation is on every plan, including Starter โ welcome notes, payment receipts, renewal reminders, class alerts โ sent from a shared number with nothing to set up. GST-compliant invoicing (GSTIN, SAC code, CGST/SGST breakdown) is core. UPI and card collection runs through your own Razorpay account on the Pro plan (or the Payment Gateway & UPI add-on), settling straight to your bank with no cut taken. Biometric attendance with eSSL and ZKTeco devices works over the cloud ADMS protocol with no PC in the gym on the Growth and Pro plans, and we document exactly how. Member and business apps are live on both the App Store and Google Play. Payroll, an AI Business Pack and a done-for-you website are costed add-ons.
Where we're honest about limits: no member-side UPI AutoPay (see GymForce), and multi-location is a Growth-plan feature or a Pro add-on rather than bundled into Pro.
Best for: Indian gyms and small chains that want the whole India stack working from the entry plan, at a price they can see up front.
Akton โ the โน89 headline
Pricing (published, akton.in, as of July 2026): a "Fitrack Best Value 2026" plan at *โน89/month** and an "All-inclusive access" plan at โน129/month. The asterisk on โน89 is not explained on the page โ no term, member cap or intro period โ so treat it as a headline, not your all-in cost.
Akton (Phobolytics Technologies) is a real India-built product with member, trainer and owner apps live on both stores, and it publishes the lowest headline price here. If budget is the binding constraint, it belongs on your shortlist โ just ask what the asterisk qualifies before comparing. Full comparison: MyGymDesk vs Akton โ
Okfit โ published INR tiers from โน500
Pricing (published, okfit.in, as of July 2026): Lite โน500, Basic โน1,000, Essential โน2,000, Growth โน3,000 per month; ~20% off yearly; 7-day free trial.
Okfit (Aerobit Technologies โ a different company from Akton, which listicles routinely confuse) undercuts MyGymDesk Starter at the headline. The catch is tiering: the mobile app and WhatsApp begin at Basic (โน1,000), the class scheduler at Essential, and analytics and POS only at Growth (โน3,000). At ~โน1,000, MyGymDesk Starter already includes WhatsApp and native apps. Genuine credit: Okfit publishes its pricing and markets AI-generated workout and diet plans. Full comparison: MyGymDesk vs Okfit โ
GymForce โ the one that markets UPI AutoPay
Pricing (published in USD only, gymforce.in, as of July 2026): Growth $79/month, Pro $99/month โ roughly โน6,800โโน8,500 at an assumed โน86 per US$ (July 2026). No INR price appears on the page despite the India-first pitch.
GymForce (GymForce Technologies LLP) is the closest India-native rival on paper โ UPI, GST, WhatsApp, eSSL device support โ and it markets the one thing MyGymDesk doesn't: UPI AutoPay for automatic monthly debits. If hands-off recurring collection is your priority, that's a real point in its favour. The trade-offs: USD billing, and its owner app has no App Store or Play listing we could find (July 2026). Full comparison: MyGymDesk vs GymForce โ
Easy Gym Software โ quote-led, sold across emerging markets
Pricing: not published โ quote-led. A third-party directory (Techjockey, as of July 2026) lists โน15,000 plus a โน5,000 annual maintenance contract; confirm current terms directly.
Easy Gym Software is a long-standing cloud platform with WhatsApp, biometric and multi-location support, and a visible customer base across the Gulf, East Africa and South-East Asia. If you operate outside India too, that reach matters. If you want to see the price before a sales call, it's the wrong shape. Full comparison: MyGymDesk vs Easy Gym โ
FitnessForce โ enterprise-leaning, now under Daxko
Pricing: ~โน1,500/month per directory listings (as of July 2026); enterprise tiers on request.
FitnessForce is an established Indian chain-oriented platform; it was acquired by Daxko (June 2026). Solid for larger multi-location operators; heavier than an independent gym needs. Full comparison: MyGymDesk vs FitnessForce โ
YourDigitalLift (YDL) โ member-app-first
Pricing: ~โน592/month per directory listings (as of July 2026).
YDL leans on a branded member app and engagement. Reasonable for studios prioritising the member-facing app; verify the back-office depth (billing, biometric, GST) against your operations. Full comparison: MyGymDesk vs YourDigitalLift โ
FitBudd โ a trainer-app platform, not gym back-office
FitBudd is built for personal trainers and coaches selling branded apps to clients โ a different category from full gym management. If you run a floor with memberships, attendance and GST billing, it's a category mismatch more than a competitor. Full comparison: MyGymDesk vs FitBudd โ
The international platforms you'll see in listicles
These are capable products built for other markets. The India stack โ UPI, GST, WhatsApp, eSSL/ZKTeco โ is generally not marketed for India, and pricing is in USD or demo-led.
Mindbody
A large wellness-scheduling platform (part of Playlist/EGYM), strong in North America. USD pricing, no UPI/GST/WhatsApp marketed for India. MyGymDesk vs Mindbody โ
Glofox
Studio-focused, part of the ABC Fitness portfolio. Card-centric, USD, India stack not marketed. MyGymDesk vs Glofox โ
WellnessLiving
Independent, founder-led, and โ credit due โ it publishes its prices ($69โ$349/month, ~โน5,900โโน30,000 at โน86/US$, July 2026). A strong North American studio product; UPI/GST/WhatsApp not marketed for India. MyGymDesk vs WellnessLiving โ
Zen Planner
Membership + billing for boutique and martial-arts studios, US-centric. MyGymDesk vs Zen Planner โ
Wodify
Purpose-built for CrossFit boxes, US/global. If you run a box and don't need India-specific billing, it's credible; if you do, the gaps show. MyGymDesk vs Wodify โ
Zenoti
Enterprise wellness for multi-location salon/spa/fitness chains โ demo-led, roughly $225โ$400 per location per month (directory estimates, ~โน19,000โโน34,000 at โน86/US$, July 2026). Genuinely strong at chain scale and multi-brand operations; aimed at a much larger buyer than a single gym. MyGymDesk vs Zenoti โ
One tool to cross off: Traqade (shut down)
Traqade (Roundglass Gympik) shut down on 31 December 2025. Its site served a shutdown notice, and it should not be on any 2026 shortlist. If you're a stranded Traqade gym, the migration path is to export your member and payment records and import them into a live platform. We wrote the migration guide here โ
The scored table (India axes, as of July 2026)
Prices are per month. "Marketed" means the vendor advertises it; "not marketed" means it isn't documented for India โ not that it's impossible.

How to choose
FAQ
What's the best gym management software in India in 2026?
There's no single winner for everyone. For an independent Indian gym or small chain that wants UPI collection, GST invoicing and WhatsApp automation working out of the box at a published price, MyGymDesk is built for exactly that. For a rock-bottom headline, Akton and Okfit are cheaper to start; for automatic UPI debits, GymForce; for enterprise chains, Zenoti or FitnessForce.
Which gym software supports UPI and GST properly?
The India-native tools โ MyGymDesk, Akton, Okfit, GymForce, FitnessForce, YourDigitalLift โ market UPI and GST. Depth varies: MyGymDesk documents GST with GSTIN and CGST/SGST breakdown and biometric over ADMS with no PC. Most international platforms don't market UPI or GST for India at all.
Which is the cheapest?
On headline price, Akton (โน89*/month, asterisk unexplained) and Okfit Lite (โน500/month) are the cheapest to start โ but their lowest tiers withhold things like the mobile app or WhatsApp. Compare at equal capability: at ~โน1,000, MyGymDesk Starter (โน999) already includes WhatsApp and native apps.
Does MyGymDesk support automatic recurring payments?
Not member-side UPI AutoPay. Each renewal is a one-time payment: MyGymDesk sends an automatic reminder and a one-tap UPI or card payment link, but the member taps to pay. If you specifically want automatic monthly debits, GymForce markets UPI AutoPay.
Is Traqade still available?
No. Traqade (Roundglass Gympik) shut down on 31 December 2025. If you're migrating off it, start here.
Prices and product facts were checked in July 2026 from each vendor's own site, or a named directory where the vendor doesn't publish pricing. Vendors change pricing; verify current terms before you buy. See our full [side-by-side comparisons](/vs) and [MyGymDesk pricing](/pricing).
